The Quilt Journal has prompts, questions, and checkboxes to help you document the story of an individual quilt, starting with the making of the quilt, and continues with its journey from owner to owner. It has ample spaces for you to include photographs and sketches to tell the story as completely as possible. Whether you made the quilt or obtained it from another quilter, Shelina encourages you to tell its story.
Shelina has made over 160 quilts and has been engaged in genealogy research for three decades. She encourages you to quilt for fifteen minutes every day and to share the story of your quilts, with inspiration from her journals and her YouTube channel, Quilt and Color. As a quilter and genealogist, Shelina knows the importance of preserving our legacy and our place in history.
